The Accommodation

Boxer Cottage

A purpose built 2-bedroom cottage which allows our guests to be fully self-contained.  The cottage has a fully functioning kitchen, a bathroom with a washing machine and two bedrooms; one double bedroom and the second is set up with two single beds - ideal for a family.  Within the lounge we offer a queen size pull out sofa bed for older children or additional guests.

Pukeko Cabin

One of our purpose built cabins that was created in 2014. This was specifically built as guest accommodation, essentially providing a bedroom facility.  These cabins have a deck area to sit and relax and a washing line to dry those clothes after returning from the days activities.  Called the Pukeko cabin because of the panel sat outside the door with a shape cut into it of the Pukeko, and the local birdlife that visit the farm from time to time.

Fantail Cabin

Fantail is our second guest cabin.  Set up with a king-size bed on the lower floor and two single beds on the upper mezzanine, again this facility is ideal for a family or couple travelling around the area.  The cabins are both powered with solar lighting and a charging unit for mobile devices. Facilities are provided for cabin occupants, a mere 50 paces away,  in the form of a full kitchenette and a bathroom which includes a washing machine.  Essential for those travelling with small children where having enough clothes to meet the need seems almost impossible

The Amenities

"We stayed two days longer than initially planned"

We have taken Eco-Glamping one step further by providing you with a  quirky cabin  in which to sleep; lined with untreated beech,  keeping the natural elements that are so important to your hosts.  A king-sized bed on the ground level and two singles on the secure mezzanine floors means that sleeping for four is easily achievable. An additional sofa bed is provided for those that don't mind a bit of close comfort sharing.  The cabins are powered in the form of solar energy, supplying light for the evenings and a 12v charging system for those that can’t leave their portable devices at home. There is a 240V AC supply for those with essential needs but visitors are encouraged to use it for essentials only

The Guest kitchen and entertainment area is just 50 paces away and fully functional with an opportunity to  be totally self-sufficient. Making a packed lunch for the family before departing for a day of exploration; or preparing a full meal for yourselves to enjoy are all achievable in this well presented kitchen.  The partially covered entertainment deck  allows a unique al fresco dining experience whilst doing a little star gazing once the daylight has gone.

Full bathroom facilities are offered including a washing machine to ensure that those sandy togs and damp towels are easily refreshed for the next days activities
